Sleeping Mats for the Homeless

We have enough bags to keep us busy for a while, but need some help from crocheters.

Interested? Contact JoEllen at (708) 301-6189. If you don't crochet but want to learn, JoEllen will show you how.

Take a Book - Give a Book

Church & Society's Give-a-Book Take-a-Book program is expanding to include books for teens and adults (No violent or sexually explicit books please). If you have appropriate books please donate them. And, as always, we are looking for children’s books. The kids visiting Operation Blessing are keeping the shelves empty.

Books can be left in the box outside room 4.

Bring your own cup.png
From Church & Society Committee

Please join Church & Society in our effort to reduce the damage to God’s earth by participating in our

BYOC  (bring your own cup) program
during Taste of Faith.

By bringing your own reusable coffee cup, you not only put less in a landfill, add less pollution in our oceans, you also save Faith UMC money on styrofoam cups, and create less trash for pick up. Styrofoam cups will still be available on Sundays if you forget your cup. PLEASE consider bringing your own. IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IT WILL HELP GOD’S CREATION.

NOTE: There is now a cupboard above the kitchenette designated to store your clean, labeled, reusable cup.

“The Lord took man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it, and take care of it.”

- Genesis 2:15

BYOC, during the Taste of Faith, will resume once we have fully returned to church.
