Virtual Taste of Faith

During this time of social distancing, do you feel a bit isolated?  Do you miss seeing and talking with your Faith friends over a cup of coffee after service? Join us by computer OR by phone.  (Yes, you can even without a computer.)  CLICK HERE  or the Church Facebook page for link information.

Let's try to help alleviate those issues by beginning a Virtual Taste of Faith.   We will have a gathering using ZOOM.  After watching the  9 a.m.church service.

on Sunday @ 10:15 am.

You will be able to see and interact with your church friends from 10:15-11 a.m.  Feel free to have a cup of coffee while virtually visiting with others.

We can share things such as  how we're spending our time, what positive things we've seen or done since the Coronavirus has affected our lives, or what plans we have after our isolation ends.  It will be an informal way to touch base with our church friends.

If you don't have access to a computer, you can join us by calling.

Tee Up for Youth
Save the date!!

Our 22nd Annual Tee Up for Youth will be on Sunday, August 9th. Don’t miss out on this fun event. You will be supporting the children & youth programs of our church.

Taste of Faith
Taste of Faith has been suspended in our efforts to avoid the coronavirus.
Consider attending our Virtual Taste of Faith on Zoom.

Join us for Sunday fellowship at 10 am in fellowship hall. Chat with friends while you enjoy a cup of hot coffee, tea, or a cold drink. Taste also offers snacks to help get you through that “mid–morning” hunger urge.

Weekly snacks are donated. Most are simple prepackaged store brand food items. Faith UMC is being pro-active in food allergy awareness; and in doing so a list of preferred food items at local stores has been created for you. (List is on wall by the coffee pots, included in this newsletter & displayed below).

If you are able to make a food contribution, it’s truly appreciated. A “Hospitality Food” container will be located in the kitchen. Foodstuff with a shorter shelf life/expiration date, can be purchased, but please indicate the Sunday on which you’d be donating. Lots of people can bring food items on the same Sunday. We like variety. Just indicate the Sunday by using the calendar posted by the kitchen door.

For fresh fruits/veggies, please utilize Faith’s kitchen for easy food preparation. Our kitchen is equipped with Platters, utensils, bowls, cutting boards, towels, etc. Don’t be shy - we encourage you to use the kitchen; just be courteous, wash & return what you have used.

These guidelines are required only for Taste of Faith.
