Faith Rising Vocalists & Instrumentalists

Get Involved

Vocalists:

The Faith Rising Singers are a group of volunteers that rotate on a weekly basis. We are open to hearing new singers and getting them into the rotation. Singers are added to the rotation based on availability, vocal blend, vocal part/range, and style of charts being led for the services. The service plans are given out through Planning Center Online Services

Lyric sheets and lead sheets (sheet music) are available for vocalists to use for home practice.

Singers are provided through Planning Center Online Services audio mp3 recordings of their part to practice at home. While we encourage and train all singers in musical note reading, it is not necessary to already know how to read music, as the recordings provide singers with the correct notes.

New singers are encouraged to fill out a survey provided by our Director. Please contact Beth Ridderhoff, Director of Contemporary Worship by e-mail: music@faithumcop.org

Instrumentalists (Musicians):

The Faith Rising Band is a group of mostly volunteers that rotate on a weekly basis. We are open to hearing new musicians and getting them into the monthly rotation. Musicians who read a lead sheet are preferred, but music reading is not required, as recordings of parts in the key we run each chart are provided ahead of time through Planning Center Online Services.

If you are a musician and would like to volunteer to participate, please contact Beth Ridderhoff, Director of Contemporary Worship, by e-mail: music@faithumcop.org
