"Though Our Feelings Come and Go, God's Love for Us Does Not." - CS Lewis

I had the unfortunate job of waking up my younger daughter this morning. She's normally very kind, gentle, and affectionate. However, waking her up is like waking up a bear - a hungry one just coming out of hibernation.

Needless to say, it was not a pretty morning. This got me thinking. What can separate us from God's love? Can anything we do (or not do).. say (or not say).. prevent God from loving us? Can sickness, disease, war, violence, brokenness, or addiction disqualify us from God's care? The Bible offers a very clear response to our questions - NO. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 While so many things in life are unpredictable and constantly changing, there is one thing in life that does not change - God. Polls change. Economies change. Relationships change. However, God's love for us does not. God's desire for our best neither wavers nor falters (Numbers 23:19). Praise be to God. - Pastor Caleb
