The Greatest Gift

What's the greatest gift you ever received? Is it a toy? a puppy? a gift card to your favorite store?

The Bible tells us that the greatest gift cannot be bought. It is something that cannot be purchased with Mastercard or American Express. The greatest gift in the world is love - and we see this most clearly in Jesus Christ.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish,

but have eternal life." - John 3:16

Thursday night, our Drama Team offered a beautiful reenactment of the events that took place on Maundy Thursday. It was humorous, engaging, and honored the story of Jesus' final meal with his disciples.

The play ended with a powerful foreshadowing of what was to come. Betrayal. Arrest. Trial. Beatings. Shaming. Flogging. Crucifying. Death.

Friends, all of this was for our sake. On the cross,

we see divine love offered for you and me.

If you're able, join us (or another church) for a time of worship on Easter.

At Faith UMC, we will gather at 9 & 11 AM

Take time to remember our story of faith,

and let's give all thanks

and glory to God.
