Vision

About 350 years ago, a shipload of travelers landed on the northeast coast of America. In the first year, they established a town site. In year two, they elected a town government. In year three, the town government planned to build a road 5 miles west into the wilderness. In year four, the citizens tried to impeach their town government because they thought it was a waste of public funds to build a road 5 miles west into a wilderness.
Isn't it ironic that people (who had the vision to see 3,000 miles across an ocean) could so quickly lose their vision to see 5 miles outside of their town?
How about you? Are you living with vision?
Do you have a sense of God's greater vision and purpose for your life?
It's Saturday. I hope you’ll set your clocks back one hour tonight and then join us for worship tomorrow morning as we worship God, who never forgets His vision for you and me.
