Easter Hope

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life,

neither angels nor demons,

neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,

will be able to separate us from the love of

God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 8:38-39

Holy Week and Easter are right around the corner. Are you ready?

Easter is much more than a historical event. The impact of Jesus’ resurrection touches every part of our lives.

Easter declares that life is victorious over death. It proclaims us that hope is victorious over despair. It reminds us that – even when we’re at our worst – God’s love for us does not fail. It assures us that God’s love reigns and nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. What is the hope of Easter for you? How have you experienced the power of the resurrection in your life?

May our Lord meet you and strengthen you as we begin the journey through Holy Week. Palm Sunday - 3/25 - 9 & 11 AM Maundy Thursday - 3/29 - 7 PM Good Friday (tenebrae service) - 3/30 - 7 PM Easter Sunday - 4/1 - 7, 9, 11 AM

(For more information, check out our website: faithumcop.org.) Prayer: Lord, we are grateful for the power of the resurrection. Thank you for the peace and hope we can find in you. As we begin the journey through Holy Week, help us remember your humble sacrifice for our sake. May we embrace the freedom and joy of the resurrection as Easter people. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Pastor Caleb
